Kolding Design School Open Day
Today Alie trekked over to Kolding for the design school’s end of year exhibition and fashion show in search of rising interaction design stars of the future. Kolding has a reputation for producing some of the best young designers in the country and it was interesting to see what this years graduates had been working on. However there was a serious lack of interaction design projects and the show was dominated by ceramics and illustration. In balance, the fashion show was entertaining and ranged from ridiculously over the top wedding inspired gowns to a procession of tiny brown bikinis accessorised with lengths of clinking chains and bare feet.
The Open Day took place at Trapholt which is a fantastic Museum for modern art, applied art, design and furniture design.
